One of our favorite types of marketing at GEM is cause marketing. In fact, we encourage community involvement at all levels within GEM, including board membership at non-profits from within our own ranks. There is no better marketing than the alignment of corporate dollars with non-profit initiatives, and we create campaigns that combine experiential, social and broadcast to create one unified marketing message.
Cause is Strategic
Cause marketing is not a blanket solution; in fact, if done properly, cause marketing can be a very targeted way to enhance brand value propositions and grow direct sales. We spend time carefully selecting nonprofit causes that align with our client's brand values, and then designing unique partnerships with multiple, interactive touch-points. Beyond sponsorships and beyond logo inclusion, we push for deeper connectivity that engages social media, event marketing, fundraising and PR.
